California Assemblyman Mike Duvall: he represents several communities
within Orange County; he is a rock-ribbed Republican, a staunch
upholder of family values - his voting record is rated 100% by a
conservative advocacy group...

Waitaminute, did I say "upholder of family values"? In the following
video, Mr. Duvall is caught by a hot microphone discussing his sex
life that involves two women he is not married to. One is 19 years
his junior. Both are lobbyists, apparently.

And when pursued by reporters, he really moves fast for a big guy!

Wow, the only thing that would make this worse would be if his wife
had cancer, he was running for president and the mistress was
pregnant...

received $100,000 that he borrowed from his father of flew to Argentina
on the taxpayer's dime.

I thought you were talking about Newt Gingrich there, except he wasn't
running for president when he served divorce papers on his cancer-
stricken wife. But you were talking about John Edwards. Does that
makes it OK for Mike Duvall, Mark Sanford, John Ensign, Larry Craig,
David Vitter, et al? That's some highly evolved ethics you're showing
there.

Anyway, unlike Sanford, Ensign, Craig and Vitter, Duvall had the good
sense to resign immediately, just as Edwards had the good sense to
withdraw from the primaries. Good luck to him on repairing his
marriage and family life.

Hmm, I seem to detect a pattern here. I'm close to drawing the
conclusion that scumbaggery crosses both sides of the aisle...
