They emulate the "good" doctor. As I've claimed here before,
conservatives are rude because that is how Limbaugh and Savage act.\

But lefties have NEVER been rude when dealing with people THEY don't
like, have they? I have been in enough places around the world to tell
you that some of the most rude, domineering, intolerant sonsofbitches
on the planet are those little petty totalitarians who are known as
"San Francisco Liberals". Ray, Karel, and the assorted kooks at the
local (is it dead yet?) Air America franchise up the dial can be just
as stand-offish as Dr. Bill, who at least has some justification. How
do you think YOU would respond if you had a radio show where idiots
who know NOTHING about your particular area of expertise, called up
every night and told you that you didn't know WTF you were talking
about?

Yes, sometimes Bill Wattenburg is a bit over the top (IMHO it comes
with juts getting old) but most of the cretins who call up spouting
their patent nonsense about 9/11 conspiracies, John Lennon, their eco-
luddite view of their world, or continual Bush Derangement Syndrome
needs a good ass-chewing. It might be the only contact with sanity and
the real world during the entire week of their SF existence... :O|

Actually, the John Lennon Guy has much better manners than Dr Bill.
The JLG and Dr. W. are very similar in their passion, though the JLG
is the saner of the two.
