It seems GE's own stockholders are fed up with the
left wing ad hominem vitriol of Schultz, Oberman, and

pg. 480

Notes to Chapter 4

paragraph 5:

"In February 1997, the Sudanese sent letters to President Clinton and
Secretary of State Albright, extending an invitation for a U.S.
counterterrorism mission to visit Sudan. The Sudanese also used private
U.S. citizens to pass along offers to cooperate. Mansoor Ijaz interview
(May 7,2004); Janet McELligot interview (Oct. 20, 2003). But these
offers were dismissed because the NSC viewed Sudan as all talk and
little action. U. S. officials also feared the Sudanese would exploit
any positive American responses, including trips to the region by U. S.
officials for their own political purposes."

They're a good channel. They have The Simpsons, CSI, and FOX News. All
of which are very entertaining indeed, and all of which are of about
equal use to people wh actually want to know what's going on in the
news.

Since the same can be said about MSNBC (#2 most
watched cable network), ratings is all there is to go by.
And those speak overwhelmingly in favor of FNC, whether
you personally identify with its format or not ;-)

Well, not really. MSNBC is respected and generally pretty accurate and
balanced. FOX is universally derided, and its viewers tend to be more
poorly informed than other news viewers.
