Or insurgent propaganda?

Undoubtedly some of CNN's staffers must have had quite a traumatic
childhood, as they still seem to be confusing their mother's nipple
with a chunk of human excrement. Ware should be tried for sedition
(if he is a U.S. citizen), and send to GITMO, as far as I'm concerned.
I realize that CNN is a global enterprise that has long tailored its
pro-
gramming to different markets, and that sometimes inappropriate con-
tent slips through, but there is no doubt about the intent of shoving
these videos in the face of the American viewers, which is clearly to
demoralize the home front.

Nobody should be tried for anything. CNN is under no obligation to
present this, or any other, war so it neatly fits into the sanitized
government version. In case you did not notice, during any armed
conflict, people get shot and it is the media duty to report it as they
see fit. We have a nifty little law that allows them to do just that. It
is called the First Amendment. It does not matter whether you like it,
you think it's treason or invoke any other kind overwrought and
hysterical rhetoric. It's about time the media found their guts and
sense of fair and unbiased reporting.

What is inappropriate about the content? Why should Americans be
protected from knowing what's going on in Iraq?

As one Bush/Cheney talking point after another turn out to be
vaporware, the home front could not be more demoralized. Look, we've
got our sons and daughters standing up to mortal danger while the Bush
Junta treads water, not knowing what to do and too arrogant to change
course. Americans get that, and that's why support for the war has
melted away.
