CONVICTED FELONS TAKE CHARGE AND REGISTER TO VOTE
(too old to reply)
VOTING FELONS, 25 MILLION STRONG

CONVICTED FELONS, GET REGISTERED TO VOTE, NOW.

Take control of your own destiny and VOTE.

The League of Women Voters passed legislation several years ago allowing
convicted felons in America to vote for the first time in history.

Typically, the rule reads TWO YEARS OFF PAPER OR OUT OF JAIL AND YOUR
ELIGIBLE TO VOTE.

You need to register at least two weeks BEFORE an election to vote.

Check with your local election commission for rules and eligibility or ask a
friend.

GET REGISTERED NOW, IT'S EASY & IT'S FREE.

THERE ARE 25 MILLION CONVICTED FELONS NOW REGISTERED, JOIN US AND TAKE
CONTROL OF OUR GOVERNMENT.

A BLOCK OF TWENTY-FIVE MILLION VOTERS HAS POWER IN AMERICA!

25 MILLION voters represents TWICE THE POWER of organized labor in America
and law makers fear the voting power of organized labor.

EVERY DAY, ANOTHER ONE THOUSAND BECOME ELIGIBLE TO VOTE.

THERE ARE ANOTHER 25 MILLION WHO NEED TO BE INFORMED THEY NOW HAVE THE RIGHT
TO VOTE.

For you "good people" who think allowing convicted felons to vote means
legalizing crime, consider this.

EVERY man and woman convicted of a crime has also been the routine victim of
crime in America.

Convicted felons aren't interested in legalizing crime, but rather in law
enforcement reform.

We are interested in bringing men like Republican Hal Daub of Nebraska and
his gang of Omaha police officers to justice. As a vocal supporter of "law
and order" over the decades. Daub did nothing but prevent his being
investigated for the rapes of numerous women in America and the heroin
poisoning and torture of their children.

It's men like Hal Daub that we seek to bring to justice while also reforming
the laws and the sentencing guidelines for crimes like drug abuse and child
sexual assault.

Drug crimes are the most harshly punished in America while child molesters
get slaps on the wrist despite permanently scarring a child for life.

Additional criminal justice reforms necessary include remedies for the
falsely accused in America.

The recent Christmas Day arrest of actor Charlie Sheen in Aspen, Colorado,
is a perfect example.

During a alcohol fueled argument, Charlie Sheen's wife called police to
report her being a victim of her husband. Although the case is still
proceeding through court the facts are that the female was extremely
intoxicated making accusations against her the male and police arrested the
male based on the accounts of the drunken female, presumably as required by
law.

Both are currently in alcohol rehab.

People filing ficticious reports of assault and other crimes to conceal
their own guilt are common in America.

An estimated 99% of those using police as a tool of aggression or to conceal
their own criminality go unpunished. The crime of filing a false police
report is rarely pursued by proseuctors while the victims are nearly always
taken to jail or forced into a courtroom to defend themselves where plea
bargaining, despite being the victim rather than the perpetrator is the
typical legal defense.

Every man or woman arrested by police and forced through the cirminal
justice system at their own expense, often to be plea guilty to a lesser
charge is a victim of crime, committed not by police, but by their accuser
who summoned police and lied to them.

No remedy is available for recouping the cost of a legal defense in these
cases which, known far to well by those labeled criminals, cost not only
defendents thousands of dollars but the tax payer as well who not only pay
for the legal proceedings, but also for the attorneys when a public defender
is used.

The damage done to one's reputation by being falsely accused of a crime and
ending up with a criminal conviction on your record is PERMANENT.

Other reforms in the criminal justice system necessary involve much needed
transparency in law enforcement. Law enforcement investigations and the
procedures of law enforcemtn are treated "Top Secret". These include the
information law enforcement places on the National Crime Information
Computer or NCIC.

You are not entitled to see the information law enforcement personnel place
on your NCIC file and you can be labeled a gang member and treated as such
without ever being convicted of a crime.

Further abuses requiring remedy involve the use of cellular telephones and
other electronci communicatons devices which are being secretly monitored,
not necessary by law enforcement, but by law enforcement wannabes.

Having your life secretly monitored by amatuers, civilians whose motivaton
is only to impress law enforcement, to feel like somebody or for purposes of
hatred are a major problem in an age where nearly every citizen now uses a
cellular or cordless telephone, aka a radio transmitter.

Having your life constantly monitored electronically without a court order
is illegal but the laws are rarely enforced. It amounts to being held
captive in your own home by the perverted and hate filled spies who target
people for their own reasons. With no professional training and morals,
these spies ALWAYS gossip about the personnel of lives of those they have
targeted causing even more damage to a victim's life.

There are many reasons to get registered to vote as convicted felon when
eligible, None so strong as to pursue criminal justice reform which only
those who have been through the criminal justice system can attest to first
hand.

ONLY WE CAN FORCE OUR ELECTED TO OFFICIALS TO CHANGE THE LAWS.

JOIN US AND GET REGISTERED TO VOTE TO REFORM THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM AND
BRING SANITY TO "LAW AND ORDER".

Acutally a person can register to vote trwo weeks before an election (close
of the final voters list).

It's also possible for a new voter to register and vote on Election Day in
Canada.

But why bother giving these inmates the rights to vote? They have committed
a crime and their privileges shouldn't include being able to vote.

There's no League of Women Voters in Canada, just the federal Liberals
Women's Section and the NDP's Women's Group.

Obviously another ignorant American.

Watching too much Oprah and following over the top celebrities isn't going
to improve any American's look beyond the USA.

Not as fat as many Americans goin' to Jack In The Box and chewin' on one of
those Big Jack burgers. Or chewing one of those
fattening Krispy Kremes.

Not to mention Americans sitting at home watching Oprah and then later on
ET Tonight ensuring the American viewer get the day's important commentary
and news right from the important sources available.

Sure. Starting another location where her followers can follow Her Word.

Figures. Who would watch 24 hours of Oprah? Guess 56 year old ladies living
in North Platte Nebraska or 24 year old girls who need "direction" and
live in Poughkeepsie.

She has been embalmed for years. She literally swims in rivers of mascara.

Why does America keep wanting to follow these celebrities who keep feeding
on the following?

What's left of them:

http://tvguide.ca/TVNews/Articles/080527_oprahs_ratings_down_CT

According to Nielson Media Research, it’s the third straight year of the average audience decline for the Oprah Winfrey Show. This year alone, the show has gone down seven per cent in average viewers.

But what really has her teetering at the top of her empire may be her endorsement of Senator Barack Obama – perhaps causing a divide in her audience; considering that some of her television audience are middle-aged white women whom support Senator Hillary Clinton. Angry criticism and political disputes are becoming common message threads on the message board from her site, Oprah.com.

Despite the declining fan base, Winfrey still plans on embarking on her big project: starting up OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. OWN will feature programming that will reflect Winfrey’s vision of what she considers empowering programming – but will not include The Oprah Winfrey Show because of its previous contracts with other stations.

Robert Madden, a senior executive vice president at CBS Television Distribution, is still optimistic when it comes to television viewers. Madden oversees the syndication of The Oprah Winfrey Show and isn’t worried about the decline. Some suggest that her show’s decline is merely the result of a general drop in overall television audience.

But certainly no Canucks, eh?

http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fpposted/archive/2008/01/15/oprah-in-canada.aspx

Daytime talk show queen and multi-million-dollar brand Oprah Winfrey has signed a deal that will see the Discovery Health Channel transformed into OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.

No word yet on whether the Canadian version of Discovery Health, owned by Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc., will get a share of the big O, who has already lent her brand identity to a magazine and a satellite radio channel.

Karen Gelbart, senior vice president of Lifestyle Content at Alliance Atlantis, issued this brief statement yesterday:

"We are tremendously excited for our partner Discovery Health Channel and this fantastic development. Oprah Winfrey is a great role model whose goals align with that of Discovery Health's -- to improve the lives and health of people. At this early stage, we cannot offer specific information on how this will impact our Canadian channel and its programming lineup, but we look forward to seeing where this great new opportunity takes us."

In 2006, Canada's Discovery Health channel successfully applied to the federal broadcast regulator to lighten its obligations to Canadian programming. Executives said the channel was having a tough time making money, due to a shortage of Canadian health shows and lower-than-expected subscriber numbers.

Alliance Atlantis was purchased by Canwest Global Communications Corp. last year, with partner Goldman Sachs Group Inc. Canwest expects to take possession of the specialty channels including Discovery Health shortly, when final approval of minor conditions is received from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.

Lol, yeah all that hot broom action sure thaws my neurons!

It's far worse than that...think sunflower seeds, constantly being masticated, expelled, remasticated, etc.

or a baseball player holding up a flask of Lectric-Shave on TV, hoping the
endorsement will mean more trade value to another team.

There's nothing in the world wrong with either of those items when they're
eaten only occasionally. Too much of any food isn't good for you. There's
no such thing as "junk food", there's only junk diets.

Are you typing that while there's a half eaten bag of Cheetos next to the
monitor?

But to be fair, many Canucks scarf bags of Old Dutch potato chips.

Face facts. American's stuff themselves with Krispy Kreme donuts because
they are soooo good.

But I'd ease up on those Jumbo Jacks at Jack In The Box.

I suggest you read my post another time or two. In the meantime, don't try
to eat a bushel of apples at one setting.

Allow me to say, when it comes to cheap swill I'd far rather be Molson'd than Bud'd.

Just being candid....

Good on ya. But you have to make that Molson a real Canadian one. Not the
3.2 watered down junk you get at El Chico's store down the street.

Our domestic beer is stronger than the stuff in the States. You want the
real Molson Beer available at the grog shop in Edmonchuck or T'rana,
or even over here in Vancouver.

Bud is overhyped grain flavoured water compared to our beer

Yup.

Molson Ice would be my pick.

Just watch out for the skunky.

Bradour was my favourite Canadian poison, back in my days oh Eh? Packed
a wallop we yanks underestimated. Every time we got to the border on a
beer run, we'd be drunker than, well, a canadian.

If anything, they should expand the no vote law to include:

- felons of any kind, even those for DWI, drugs, violence etc.
- welfare and unemployment in the last 12 months.
- those with no fixed address
- those in taxation arrears.
- those with unpaid fines and child support
- those who work for government including teachers, police, fire etc.
- those not paying at least $1000 in taxes per year.

Then things would change for the better. Less gripers, grifters and
losers steering the ship.
