Here's a weird story out of San Francisco. To make some sort of point
regarding gay marriage and adoption of children by gay couples, a gay
man and a lesbian woman have chosen to "co-parent" a baby together,
conceiving it in the normal manner except that the couple is not
sexually attracted to each other at all. Both have announced that
they are simply friends and will continue to see other people outside
this relationship. Then some radio show host criticized the idea,
accusing them of using the baby as some sort of political prop, and
was immediately crucified as homophobic and intolerant.
