It's the road to Unvarnished Insanity. You just can't make this bullshit
up.......

Don't believe it, then see the below video and how these moron in Oakland
have twisted the murder of 4-Oakland Police by this scum rapist. The video
of their march below.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/03/25/MNDD16N9VP.DTL

About 60 people marched and rallied in Oakland on Wednesday to condemn the
police and honor Lovelle Mixon, who was killed by Oakland police after he
fatally shot four officers Saturday.

"OPD you can't hide - we charge you with genocide," chanted the
demonstrators as they marched along MacArthur Boulevard, near the
intersection with 74th Avenue where Mixon, 26, a fugitive parolee, gunned
down two motorcycle officers who had pulled him over in a traffic stop. He
killed two more officers who tried to capture him where he was hiding in his
sister's apartment nearby.

The protest was organized by the Oakland branch of the Uhuru Movement, whose
flyers for the march declared, "Stop Police Terror." Many marchers wore
T-shirts featuring Mixon's photo, including a woman identified by march
organizers as Mixon's mother. The woman declined to comment and gave her
name only as Athena.

Lolo Darnell, one of Mixon's cousins at the demonstration, said, "He needs
sympathy too. If he's a criminal, everybody's a criminal."

Asked about police allegations that Mixon was suspected in several rapes,
including that of a 12-year-old girl, marcher Mandingo Hayes said, "He
wasn't a rapist. I don't believe that."

Bystanders had mixed reactions. Nicole Brown said that she can't condone
murder but that police don't respect residents of the area. Daria Belt said
she had no sympathy for the protesters but sympathized for Mixon's family.

Big turnout at East Oakland vigil for police

A thousand people pressed into a three-block area around the
slaying site at 74th Avenue near MacArthur Boulevard, where
the doves were released. The mourners wept, sang songs and
prayed for the fallen officers and for the city's healing.

City and religious leaders gave speeches, thanking police for
protecting the public and urging the public to take a stand
against violence.

"To see so many people here today, in the very same community
we lost four officers, means so much to us," said acting
Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan. "We're going to get
through this with the support of our families and with the
support of you, the community."

Been there, done that, hung out on Shattuck Avenue, drank the lattes.
No such thing, Stan.

There are real, honest-to-goodness fascist movements right here in
America - white supremacist groups like National Alliance, hyper-
nativists like the Minutemen, theocrats like the Dominionists - and
they are ALL aligned on the *right* side of the political spectrum.

Well, unlike you, I wasn't "hanging out" on Shattuck - I was busting
my ass to get my BSChE and get the hell out of there. But when I was
there, I saw so-called "activists" vandalizing public and private
property, disrupting speeches and shouting down people they didn't
agree with, stealing newspapers and trashing newsstands because they
didn't agree with an editorial, making physical threats, making false
accusations to law enforcement personnel, listening to tenured
professors tell their students that teaching undergrads was secondary
to their mission of "social activism", and heard student AND faculty
tell others openly that students who did not share their political and/
or social views should be kicked off the campus. The locals also had a
bad habit of using physical intimidation and harrassment against
people they did not care for, especially Jewish students. I have
traveled and worked all over the world, and dealt with people from all
different backgrounds and all walks of life, but I can tell you that
some of the most ignorant, intolerant and hateful (as well as mentally
disturbed) people I have ever encountered were in Berkeley... :O|

Yet they rail about big business and the Jews just like the lefties
do. They are also very marginalized groups which have for practical
purposes NO support among mainstream conservatives. OTOH, street thugs
like ACORN and the Black Block anarcho-assholes are no less fascistic,
tolerated and at times even financed by the mainstream left. People
like ACORN and the La Raza types who work to steal elections are a far

conservative.

ACORN and La Raza do not steal elections, and they do not exhibit the
hyper-nationalism, hyper-natalism, contempt for individual rights and
contempt for minorities that we see from real fascists on the Right.

From what I've read about Black Bloc, they hate *everybody*. And are
they even active any more? Haven't seen anything from them since 2000.

As an aside, in Latin as spoken 2000+ years ago, there was no "k" but
rather a 'c' which was pronounced the way we pronounce a 'k'. Hence,
the correct spelling is Spartacus. :-)

Today, the German word "Kaiser" (which simply means "emperor") was
derived from the Roman name Caesar - the German "k" is similar in
pronunciation to the Latin 'c'.

Mispelling of Latin words is in fact very useful - in figuring out how
Latin words were pronounced 2000 years ago, one of the hints we have
is the spelling errors people made - common mispellings indicated
similarities in how various vowels and consonants sounded. Your
misspelling (one an English speaker could easily make) is an
illustration of how that can work.

Actually, when I originally set up my account on deja-news.com,
Spartacus with a "c" was already taken. The unusual spelling helps
with Google searches for responses to my posts. Anyway IIRC,
Spartacus was a Greek slave. I don't believe that "c" appears in the
Greek alphabet, so the "k" is more authentic. :-)

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartacus>:

"The ancient sources agree on Spartacus's origins. Plutarch
describes him as 'a Thracian of Nomadic stock'.[1] Appian says
he was 'a Thracian by birth, who had once served as a soldier
with the Romans, but had since been a prisoner and sold for a
gladiator'.[2] Florus (2.8.8) described him as one 'who from
Thracian mercenary, had become a Roman soldier, of a soldier a
deserter and robber, and afterwards, from consideration of his
strength, a gladiator'.[3] Some authors refer to the Thracian
tribe of the Maedi,[4] which in historic times occupied the
area on the southwestern fringes of Thrace (present-day
south-western Bulgaria).[5] There is a hypothesis, he was born
in the Thracian settlement Desudava,[6] in the area of
present-day Sandanski,[7] where his monument is built.[8]"

He was Thracian, possibly from what is now Bulgaria, by birth but
was a Roman slave and gladiator. The Roman spelling of his name
would not contain a 'k', which the Romans did not use, and Greek
was spelled using a different alphabet - any transcription into our
alphabet would not have contained a 'k' as the 'k' had not yet
been added (neither had 'w' - the Romans pronounced a 'v' the way
we pronounce 'w').

Also, Thracians did not speak Greek as their native language -
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thrace>:

"The Thracians fell early under the cultural influence of the
ancient Greeks, preserving until a much later time, however,
their language and culture. It also appears from mythological
accounts that the Thracians influenced Greek culture from a
very early period, with some Thracians, such as Orpheus, even
appearing as culture-bearers in some myths. But as non-Greek
speakers, they were viewed by the Greeks as barbarians. The
first Greek colonies in Thrace were founded in the 6th century
BC."

Given your moniker and your obvious political leanings, I suspect you
have the same definition of "compassion" as most Marxists, which would
be people who share your extreme left-wing social and political views.

StanLoon---you wouldn't know a marxist if you were
licking it's ass.

Given YOUR political leanings, you haven't a clue as to
what "compassion" is.

But you can, right? - ROTFLMAO!!!

Keeping people helpless and dependent on government is NOT compassion.

Telling people that they can't make it on their own, that the system
is stacked against them, so they shouldn't try to do their best, is
NOT compassion.

Putting people in positions of discrimination, slavery,

Once again

you cannot name a single fucking conservative policy,
program, or agenda that ever helped the mass of people
below middle class.

Conservative policies have the effect of MAKING people helpless and
dependent.

Conservative policies are focused entirely on benefitting people who
are already well off. They rig the system *against* people who are
trying to make it on their own.

Five words in your response, and the only word you go right was "true".

Does that explain why wealthy Democrats who send their children to
private schools, and the NEA (a huge lobbying organization donating
millions to Democrat candidates) fight school choice for black
schoolchildren in DC? They are really conservatibes?

Ah, "school choice", the initiative that throws the public education
system under the bus. A perfect example of what I am talking about.
It's not just the NEA and "wealthy Democrats" who oppose "school
choice". For example, the Anti-Defamation League is against it:

http://www.adl.org/vouchers/vouchers_main.asp

And "school choice" has been voted down in 18 out of the 20 states
where it has appeared on the ballot. It's one of those ideas that
seems reasonable at first glance, but the closer people look, the more
sordid details they see and the more they dislike it.
